I asked the Lord to show me what He saw in the church, while worshiping Him one day I had a vision. In my vision I saw before me 2 cisterns, suddenly the cisterns smashed to pieces and nothing was inside they were empty they held no water. This was very interesting because the word ‘cisterns’ as in 2 not 1 stuck in my mind, when I asked the Lord what did this mean He gave me: Jeremiah 2:12, 13, In the Old Testament the word ‘CISTERNS’ is not used often so the Lord was being very specific. This is what it says,
12 Be astonished, O heavens, at this, And be horribly afraid; Be very desolate,” says the LORD. 13 “ For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water.
The Lord says, “they do not worship me in Spirit and Truth but worship themselves. They are not filled with the Living Waters of God, but have replaced Me with their own false worship seeking signs and wonders, they have committed Idolatry against Me, and will be smashed to pieces.”
