Men's Opinions

I am so tired of men's opinions and organizational doctrines that are opinion based yet taught as fact. I am wearied with all those who think that a seminary or college education is the basis for choosing a Pastor. Education has its place but it is no substitute for Revelation of Christ. Listen to the Apostle Paul for a moment:

Galatians 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

And As Peter so eloquently put it:

1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

We need a lot more ministers who speak with authority and by the power of the Spirit and less who speak from carnal thinking and men's shared opinions. Remember this. God's word has never been a matter of men's opinion. Unless we as ministers can speak as those God sent (as his oracles) maybe we shouldn't speak at all.

What Kind of Church?

What kind of Church are you attending? Is it one that puts the words of scripture above its traditions? Above its leadership's opinions? You have to ask yourself.

Does your church walk according to the Spirit? Are they led of the Spirit? In other words is your church dependant on a supernatural God and do they hear God's voice clearly in the now?

If the answer is no to either of these questions than you are not in a true congregation of the Christian church. The body of Christ is a supernatural entity dependant on the leading of the Holy Spirit through the sacrifice of Jesus the Christ by the scriptures. Congregations of the bride of Christ live supernatural lives. Most Churches and organizations make supernatural claims but it is only lip service. The fact is most churches lead very carnal lives and and depend only on the opinions and imaginings of men.

Revelation of Christ is what the last days Church is based on . That was what the early church was based on. It is the supernatural rock the Church is built up on.

Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

You see that what men thought was completely wrong but what God revealed supernaturally through Jesus was right. The revelation of Jesus Christ is the supernatural rock this church is founded on. As the Apostle paul said:

Galatians 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

You need to be in that kind of congregation. Pray that God will lead you to his people.

  Returning to Revelation

One of the everyday things I have to deal with are false teachers. Students in my classes are always asking me what I think of this teacher or  of that teacher and I usually have nothing good to say about that person's ministry they have mentioned. That is because the vast majority of radio and T.V. and Internet ministries are worthless. It almost seems the more popular the teacher is the more error is being propagated on an unsuspecting Christian public.

It seems that things are very much like they were in Jesus' time when he walked as a man. No one was right. Who men perceived him to be was wrong.

Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

None of the teachers of that time recognized that he was from above. His teaching was beyond their carnal reasoning. So it is today. Most of the well known teachers are wrong because the use carnal reasoning rather than revelation from above. This revelation of Christ is spiritual and what the Church is built on.

Matthew 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

This is the propriety we must return to. Not truth by consensus of carnal men and institutions but rather revelation of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Galatians 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Until we as Christians return to this propriety we will be made merchandise of by these carnal teachers. Think it over prayerfully.

Calvinism and The Gospel

Its seems that so much of Christian denominational teaching has been infected with the false teachings of John Calvin to varying extents. The eternal security doctrine (Once saved always saved) and the idea that you as an individual were chosen from the foundations of the world is not only silly but patently false. The true predestination described in scripture is simply this:

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Mankind is the "us" described here. It was always God's plan to justify us through Christ! it is that simple. In others words Adam was only a transition. Jesus is the man God always intended. We were never to be counted in Adam but in Christ who is the finished product. You must be adopted out of Adam (the old man) and in to Christ Jesus( the new man). This was always God's plan from the beginning.

Romans 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

1 Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

So when do you become the elect? It is when you receive Jesus as your Lord and savior!

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

When did the Ephesians enter into this predestination? the same way..when they received him and believed!

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

The truth of the Scriptures is plain and pure and simple. You are adopted into Christ and his predestination when you believe! That is the elect! Come out of false Gospels and repent!

Deserved Condemnation

Another thing that sickens me are those judaisers  who accuse under the guise of asking questions. They seek to put gentile believers under the law and pull them away from grace. They ask questions like  "Well, so if you aren't under the law does that mean you are free to murder?"   How twisted! They know we are not saying any such thing when we teach Christians about the law and grace. No one who teaches the  righteousness of Christ apart from the law believes it is ok to murder or steal or covet etc. We believe we are dead with Christ to the law because Jesus has paid it with his body on the cross.

Colossians 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ::12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

We are dead with Christ by faith to sin. He has changed our nature from that of sinner under the law to a new creature that was never under law.

1 Timothy 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

Romans 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Grace leaves you no permission or room for pleasing the sin nature. We by faith consider that nature dead with Christ. If se sow to that nature than we claim through faith is dead we will reap death!

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

We do not walk by the law but by the Spirit . It is by the Spirit we put the sin nature to death. If we walk by the flesh than we will die!. I do not need the law anymore to remind me of what sin is or identify it. I do not need a law on the outside to tell me not to steal for by my new nature I am not a thief !  Now it is the Holy Spirit in me that guides me not the law !  Those who claim we say different slander us and the faith and their condemnation is deserved!

                                                                                                                Rebels

Rebels are everywhere! They claim to be Christians and the claim to be ministers but they will not submit to the Lord or his Word or his Spirit!. In my time as a minister I have tried to rightfully require of my minister brethren to follow the Word and submit themselves to God. For the most part I have met with nothing but opposition. They generally characterize any rebuke or reproof as an "attack". They accuse me of not having love if I dare tell them they are preaching error or acting in an unchristian way. None of them will go to the scriptures with me or anyone else to examine these rebukes to see if they are true. They do not want the truth or care for it. these are spoken of in Jude:

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Their followers are just as bad. They are deceived and care nothing for the truth.

Jude 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

We need to follow Jude's admonitions here.

Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Is your pastor or teacher submitted to the truth? Pray that God show you. Do not suffer these rebels a moment.

Paltalk Perils

As many of you know I teach daily on Paltalk.com and have for nearly seven years in the christianity section. It can be a great tool to reach people with the truth of the Gospel as it is a free open forum with voice and video as well as text. The virtual rooms we are allowed to setup and control are great venues if they are used properly and a certain decorum and order maintained.

The only real problem is that you are dealing with people. In the Christian section you meet all kinds of folks who consider themselves to be Christians but truly the majority have no real clue as to what being a Christian is. You meet self proclaimed prophets and pastors and apostles...even a few angels (delusional) as well as supposed bible teachers galore. I sometimes feel as if I am one lone voice lost in a cacophony of voices. I am drowned out by the sheer number of flakes, fruits and nuts. Its a real granola experience.       You have heresies of every kind and description all around you. This is a clear sign of the times.

This place in virtual reality is a real indicator of what modern  American Christianity has become. No love, no kindness, no truth. No real relationship or fear of a living God. No interest in the unity of the faith or the purity of the Gospel message. It underscores one fact that is necessary for Christians to get a hold of. You need to hear from God! You need to submit to him to help you sort out what is true and who and what is not. Otherwise you will be tossed around in this sea of confusion of men's teachings and doctrines of demons.

It is time for us to return to a real relationship with God and then escape confusion and heresy. Drop to your knees and prayerfully seek his face through Jesus and his sacrifice today. His righteousness will get you in front of God's throne that you may find clarity of truth. And stay off of paltalk if you are only going to add to the confusion. That goes for Church too. If you aren't a part of the solution you are part of the problem.

God bless you.
